Where a batch went to an independent laboratory the certificate names it, and Janoshik reports carry a test number you can look up on the lab's own site. Where it did not, the certificate says so and is labelled supplier-reported. Either way the document for the batch you receive is published here, and the QR code on the vial opens it.

What the certificate tells you, and what it does not
A certificate carries a purity figure and the name of whoever produced it. Ours fall into two groups. Independent reports came from Janoshik Analytical or Marfleet Analytical Services, run on a sample taken from the batch; the certificate names the laboratory and the analysis date, and Janoshik reports carry a test number that resolves on janoshik.com.
Supplier-reported analyses arrived with the batch, produced in the supplier's own laboratory. We publish them with that label rather than leave the page blank, because knowing where a number came from is more use than not seeing it. Those batches are queued for independent testing and the page changes to a named report when it lands. No figure anywhere on this site is produced by us.
Purity
Reverse-phase HPLC with UV detection gives the chromatographic purity printed on the certificate. It is the measured value for that batch, not a floor and not a typical value.
Identity
Mass spectral comparison against reference standards confirms the compound. The certificate states the method it was run on.
Traceability
Each vial's QR code resolves to the Certificate of Analysis for its specific batch.
Potency
Where the method includes a content assay, the measured amount in the vial is printed as mg against the label claim. Where it does not, no potency figure is shown.

Laboratory named, result checkable
The sample goes to Janoshik Analytical or Marfleet Analytical Services, contract laboratories we do not own. The certificate states the laboratory, the method and the analysis date, and Janoshik reports carry a test number that resolves on their own website. We neither run the assay nor edit the document.
Supplier-reported analysis
Labelled, never hidden
Some batches arrive with the analysis the supplier ran in their own laboratory. We publish it with that label so you can weigh it accordingly, and it is queued for an independent report. When that report lands, the certificate on the product page is replaced and the label changes.

Colour-coded flip-off cap
Tamper-evident seal, with a single cap colour per compound for fast, error-free identification.
Aluminium crimp seal
Crimped over a self-healing rubber stopper that reseals after each withdrawal.
Clear Type I glass
Inert borosilicate. It will not leach into or react with the lyophilised peptide.

Batch traceability
Every product listing is linked to a specific batch. When stock is replenished from a new batch, the certificate and the batch number on the page are updated before the product is listed. This means the certificate on each product page corresponds directly to the batch currently in stock, not a historical result from a previous supply. We believe this level of traceability is the minimum standard researchers should expect from any supplier.

Every product we stock, its current batch number, the certificate for that batch, and who ran the analysis. "Supplier-reported" means the figures came with the batch and have not been independently measured yet; it is the honest label, not a claim. If a certificate is missing for a product, we would rather show the gap than hide it.

Are UK Peptide Lab peptides third-party tested?+
Not every batch yet, and each certificate says which it is. Batches we have sent to Janoshik Analytical or Marfleet Analytical Services carry a named independent report, and Janoshik reports include a test number you can check on the laboratory's own website. Batches we have not sent out yet carry the analysis supplied with them, published with a supplier-reported label. Either way the figure on the page came from a laboratory, never from us.
What purity are your research peptides?+
The measured figure for the batch you receive is printed on its certificate, and the table on this page lists the current ones. Our written specification is ≥98% HPLC purity. Where a batch assayed below that line the certificate shows the real number rather than rounding it up.
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis?+
Yes. A certificate is published for every batch in stock and linked from the scan-to-verify QR code printed on the vial, so you can confirm the exact batch in your hand.
Which laboratories test your peptides?+
Our independent reports come from Janoshik Analytical and Marfleet Analytical Services, both contract laboratories we do not own. Their certificates are published as issued. Where a batch has not been to either, the certificate is supplier-reported and labelled that way on the page.
Are your peptides based and shipped in the UK?+
Yes. Stock is held in the UK under temperature-monitored, cold-chain storage and dispatched with tracked delivery. UK delivery is free on orders over £69.
