What is MGF?
In muscle tissue that has been stretched or damaged, the IGF-1 gene is spliced differently and produces an isoform whose unique tail is known as mechano growth factor. The research peptide reproduces that tail. Because there is no PEG attachment, the plain peptide is cleared quickly in culture, which suits short time-course assays and studies that want to isolate the native sequence.
